Dual-Pricing for property in Thailand? Do foreigners pay more than Thais?
In Pattaya, it is common to find a Foreign Freehold Premium surcharge to be paid by foreign buyers on condominium properties.
In Phuket, there are a few developments that have this surcharge, but for the most part it’ll be the same price for Thai or Foreign buyers. Although you do see a Freehold Premium charge not specific to nationality, just for the privilege of owning the property outright.
